Delecta Fruit is the exclusive international marketing partner for Graaff Fruit. As Graaff Fruit is a majority shareholder in the company it provides us with a greater influence over what happens to our product after it leaves the farm. It also offers transparency with regards to the costs and other exporting challenges.

Orange River Vineyard Investments Pty Ltd (ORVI), Namibia

Production Partner

Graaff Fruit is a shareholder in ORVI, a 170ha table grape production unit situated on the Orange River at Aussenkehr in Namibia. The shareholding is in partnership with the Namibia Liebich family and the Kenyan VegPro Group’s Patel family. Our vineyards hare have recently been replanted with the new generation popular table grape varieties from ARRA, IFG and SNFL and the grapes produced here are exported to clients internationally.

Home Produce, Zimbabwe

Production and marketing partner

Home Produce at Marondera in Zimbabwe is owned and managed by the Faber family. They produce the earliest peaches and nectarines in the Southern Hemisphere. Graaff Fruit provides Home Produce with plant material and production technical extension and markets their stone fruit internationally. This was a Graaff Fruit initiative and we are proud to be associated with Home Produce.

Rosenhof Nursery

Plant material partner

Rosenhof is a well-established nursery in Ceres area known for the production of good quality plant material. They produce all major top fruit and stone fruit trees. Robert Graaff is a director of Rosenhof.

TopFruit

Intellectual Property (IP) partner

Topfruit is an intellectual property management, marketing and brand development company. They are Southern African licence holders for a range of very popular international fruit varieties and they import and manage this sought after plant material in the region on behalf of their international plant breeder clients. This includes protection of the plant material through stringent contractual relationships with nurseries on behalf of the plant breeders as well as the management of royalties payable to breeders for plant material.

PSB

Intellectual Property (IP) partner

PSB Producción Vegetal SL is a family company created in 1995 by the Buffat family, located in MURCIA (southern Spain). The company specialises in the breeding and production of stone fruit, mainly apricots and nectarines. Graaff Fruit is the exclusive manager of PSB varieties in South Africa. This is managed within our partner company Buffalo Fruit together with our French partner Alric Charbit.

CapeNature

Nature stewardship partner

CapeNature is a public institution with the statutory responsibility for biodiversity conservation in the Western Cape and is governed by the Western Cape Nature Conservation Board. CapeNature’s mandate is to promote and ensure nature conservation; render services and provide facilities for research and training; and generate income. The organisation’s vision of conserving nature for a sustainable future’ reflects Graaff Fruit’s vision of sustainability. CapeNature’s Stewardship programme includes the establishment of biodiversity corridors on private and communal land as part of this initiative and at Romansrivier we have a nature reserve which is managed in co-operation with CapeNature.

De Grendel

De Grendel is a prestigious wine Farm at Plattekloof Cape Town also owned by the Graaff Family.

The Pines

The Pines is a Table Grape farm in the Hex River Valley also owned by the Graaff family and Managed by Graaff Fruit.
