We take every possible measure to reduce residue levels to ensure that our fruit is safe for global consumption.
From the moment we harvest to delivering to the shelf, we closely monitor the cold chain to ensure that we deliver a top quality product. In addition, each batch of fruit is assessed for sugar levels, acidity, pressure, colour, maturity, storage potential and residues.
In order to protect our delicate produce, we keep handling to a minimum to prevent bruising. We also enforce a strict speed limit on the farms to prevent bruising of picked fruit as well as to reduce the amount of dust settling on the ripening and picked fruit.
